Does Propecia make you feel like crap?

Just a question to those who use it regularily OFF cycle for hairloss, does it make you feel like crap?

As in brain fog, fatigue, loss of zest for life, less training endurance, water retention or facial bloating, ect?

Do you notice a difference as to how you feel on Propecia, and off Propecia?

Thanks.

lol - you just ticked off the package insert side effects listing.

finasteride sucks.

there are many threads here talking about the negative effects. It DOES save your hair tho.

yes it can make you feel like crap and those feelings can continue after you stop taking the meds. My only advice besides not ever taking it is to cease consumption at first sign of any of the aforementioned side effects. Get a hormone panel before you start for good measure.

Duta is like poison literally.

I wonder why some people get bad sides, and some dont.

I would really like to know why.

A lot of the side effects people seem to get from Propecia/Avodart is hypothyroid/adrenal fatigue type side effects.

i had not cycled in 1.5 years--and duta made me go back on just to feel like someone other than one of the golden girls--great hair but i think i know why the ended the clinical trials for hair loss---

Got some bad brain fog from it after about a month, quit taking it as I can probably get away w/out it for my hair and feel much better

I've been taking it on and off cycle, never had any problems with it and its the real deal propecia, never ANY side effects except a nice, thick, full head of hair

tried it at 1-2.5mg a day for a month for experimental purposes, the finasteride was legit from a pharmacy in single dose foil packs(dont ask) some crumbling occured when spliting the pill, proscar tabs can be brittle ,was not active in the gym at the time so i cannot comment on strength...it DID make my cheeks a little "softer" looking..i did not notice any increase or decrease in sebum production of my scalp or face,,ejaculation volume was the same,,,,

Wow...2.5 per day would kill my libido... I buy the 5mg proscar and split em...thus...1.25ed since 1997 baby... that dose works perfect to stop the hair loss...but doesnt hurt anything else.. From what I recall from my doc...1mg for hairloss....much more thatn that is more for prostate health...

Never really put two and two togetherr though about the brain fog though... very interesting...

i know people who are on 5mg of finasteride for BPH, many who i have spoke to said they did notice a decrease in energy levels and "well being" , , although it is noted that many of them are in their 50's-70"s

I think a lot of those sides also walk hand in hand with getting older :p but I never experienced anything bad while on propecia. I stopped taking it, just got tired of taking something that could jack me up 20yrs from now when the drug company stops paying the fda and the true sides are revealed. I suggest this, shave your head, completely bald, razor burns and all and take some pictures all angles. I did that and decided to say fuck it and let it go. I still looked decent and it was a HUGE weight off of my mind. I still have most of my hair but I now know if it fades to black on me, I wont be looking like a serial killa'.. I do have a buddy who was in a bad accident and his head looks like a roadmap so it depends on what your cranium looks like. :)

I have taken propecia and proscar and I can't say it did much of anything for me. I still have about 85% of my hair at 51, and it just started to turn gray very slowly about 6 months ago. So at my age I really don't care if it stays in or falls out. If I was 30 I would go get a hair transplant.

IMO you are better off using topicals: nizoral, spiro, racoon piss...whatever.
Fin-nasty-rude will lower libido and make you feel like shit. I can't endorse it.
