It's called top posting and is a serious faux pas in thread etiquette. It has been since NNTP message posting was prevalent. Even FIDO net in the BBS days frowned on top posting.

Why is it so confusing?

It is so simple to read, we are not babies we know the order of a post and how it works and how it is read.

If that is difficult then I would not like to find out how some people run their life which is much more complex than a quote and a post. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

There is a clear failure to understand the order and natural progression of the thread; clearly if it was said first it should be before the response, not after.

and notice how only women are arguing that it should be acceptable that the response be before the quote?

You women drive the same way you post on threads?

hahah jk about the sexism thing...

It all depends how your threads are set up and actually you are wrong and here is why. My set up is this:

Go to Edit Options, then Thread display mode I chose "linear - newest first" which shows me the latest post. When MF posts above her quote to me it reads in a natural progression and the post is NOT uniterrupted because that is how I set up my display.
