As for me, yeah life sucks right now. Well, honestly, it's not so much that my life sucks but that I think it sucks. Make any sense? Nah, didn't think so.

I started this so I should answer. My life is like the weather. One day it's sunny and bright, the next day it may be gloom and doom. All controlled by circumstances, much beyond my control.

That's due to your letting outside circumstances dictate how you feel, only you can control how you feel, how you react to things.

When you change your reaction, you change your perspective.

I know that. Pschology 101. :) But for instance, it's hard to feel good when your mother just died or you're about to lose your house. Just using these as examples. Or you just found out you had terminal cancer, or you hate your boss, etc, etc, etc,.

Sorry man it's not always that simple. It is under normal circumstances but sometimes things happen to people and they slide into moods that are not normal after which point they are incapable of helping themselves.

I don' t know if this is the case here. It doesn't really sound like it, seeing as he has up days also but in some cases it just doesn't work that way.

Everyone has their own coping mechanisms for extreme situations, determined by experience and temperment, but they still have them. It's rare for a person to go to pieces when there is no precedent for such behaviour.

There are no absolutes in life, but in general a well adjusted person would have a coping mechansim for the tragedies you described above.

I always thought it would have sucked to have been my dad. Having 4 kids to deal with that were constantly pissing him off. But the man always said he had a postive attitude and didn't let things get him down. Until he had a breakdown caused by Parkinson's disease that he was unaware of at the time. Totally changed his personality. But even still, he seems to be taking it in stride.

LOL..never heard it put better!!!!!
Today was kind of sucking...but this evening really picked up...days are hard..but nights are awesome..hehehe...so i guess it depends on what time of the day you ask me..lol :)

But "one day" I realized how lucky I was just to be healthy and alive.
I started changing how I looked at the world.

I accepted thing I could not change!!!

I go more with the flow than against it!

My life is great. And if it wasn't I'd make the necessary changes, as long as you're healthy and of course alive there's always an option.

You have 1 life, you might as well try your best to enjoy it as much as you can.

There's no need for me to feel sorry for myself, everyone has their good and bad days.
