as long as you are taking in the same total amount of calories, is there a benefit of doing say:

isocaloric vs 40-30-30, or something similar?

im doing a 45-30-25 now.
 
it is just a different approach to your diet in my opinoin, to insure that you are not overeating at one meal and not supplying your body with enough nutrients to last till your next meal in another, i dont do isocaloric and i am getting fine results.
