i dont see why they cant, here is a diet for bulking i copied from someone on this board a month or 2 back....cant remember who or i would post their name for recognition.....

MY current bulking main menu. Eat at least 6 bowls a day. 1 cup raw uncooked oatmeal,
1.5 cup shreaded wheat, 1 cup grape nuts. 1/2 cup rasins, 2 tbs natty pb, 1/2 banana,
1 spoon full of sugar free jelly, 2 cups milk, 6 packs splenda. Best meal ive ever eaten,
and around 1,500 clean cals per bowl.
at 1500 cals a bowl even if you just eat that 2-3 times your well on your way past the 3,500 mark.....
