I am wondering how many (if any) people who post here ride or are intrested in dirtbikes? I am not talking about street bikes. I know alot of folks ride those.. this is all about the dirtbikes.

I recently bought a GasGas 200. It is a very cool bike. Not too many of these. Hand built in Spain.. a factory race bike.

I did a few motocross and hare scrambles races when I was like 17 to 19.

I hope your new bike runs good. Are replacement parts hard to come by? I would imagine that since it's not as mass produced at the BIG 4 that it would be a little more expensive, no???

very nice,I use to have dirt bikes but we moved to the city about 10yrs ago or so and sold them when we did,I love trail riding though,or making your own trails

Thats is a sweet bike dballer.

I used to ride a CR250 for a while, but racing wasnt my thing, I liked freestyle. But that shit was too dangerous and everytime I wrecked I needed a new pipe, Handlebars, and my elbows would be missing skin.

Yeah, parts are a bit more expensive. But to be honest the parts are easier to get. There is a huge warehouse of parts for these bikes in Missippi (the US importer) and they fill orders and ship them. There are not too many of these so... Think of how many orders are filled for Suzuki in one week!!! That is why it takes soo long to get bottom end seals for a 90 KX 250 ya know?

I am not too big in the motocross area. I used to race cross country and Enduro.. but those days are over. I am now 29 and my knees hurt too much. I just trail ride now. I got my girl a RM 80 and she is getting into it too. She loves riding... it is kinda scary.. like I created a monster!

I have a yamaha 250, BOsen reeds, pipes, the works. I'm not as balzy as I used to be and haven't raced since highschool. I had a bike that was Robie Rainers in highschool, it was a RM 250,,way to much bike for my 16 year old ass. My buddy still races in small events in Oklahoma.

I scared of breakin bones now, so I mainly trail ride, but go the the motocross track about once a month and puss around

Now I can't tell if your stories are bullshit or your spelling is just really bad.

I think you mean you have Boyesen Reeds and the bike used to belong to Robbie Reynard. Wouldn't Reynard still have been on Kawasaki's when you were in high school?

dude, dont get me wrong...

i love those bikes...

but i have had 2 motorcycle wrecks...

no more, that shit hurts...

Hell I haven't kept up with him now. I don't even know if he is still racing. I bought the RM from a friend who said it was Rob's old bike before he got big.
and yes my spelling is bad. Isn't he on honda's now?

here are some cool spots in Ok.

Appalachia Bay ORV Area

Beaver State Park ORV Area

Broken Bow Weyerhauser Trails

Camp Gruber Recreation Area

Draper Lake ORV Area

Kaw Lake ORV Area

Lake Murray Motorcycle Area

Lake Stanley Draper Motorcycle Area

Quartz Mountain ORV Area (Lone Wolf)

Stillwater Cycle Park

If you are into any of these places I can get directions. Little Sahara is really cool. Didn't they film MASH there??

I hit draper up all the time. My buddy "Baker Boys yamaha" has keys to all the track around. Are you in OK?

no I am in Ga.. but I did alot of racing (Enduro) in the SouthEast.. so I met alot of folks from all over. Then I also worked on a web project for trail riders.. I compiled a listing of all the county, state and federal funded lands legal to ride dirtbikes. It took me almost 3 years to do all 50 states. (I also added all the tracks too. )

My neighbor is in charge of all the state parks. I don't know exactly what he does, but he builds moutain bike trails and maintains them all over OK. Enduro is more my style now. I did a calf scramble when I was 15 on a honda 125 xl 4 stroke and it was the best race ever. I don't keep up with dirt bikes anymore. What is a good enduro bike. I remember Huskavarna (sp?) used to be the shit for a while. 4-strokes or 2?
I'd like to sell my dirt bike and get a 4 stroke for the trails and just a quiter bike. What's th hot one right now. I'm into Yamaha's right now, but also lke Hondas.

I'm sick of rebuilding the top end every year or so.

GSXR do you do your own top end rebuilds?

well I would say the Husaberg, VOR, Husqvarna or KTM are the kings of 4 stroke right now. But those bikes are alot faster than 2 strokes... to say the least.

go to www.traderonline.com and run a search on the above brands.. see what is available in your area. Look into GasGas too.. those are a top of the line bike.

I am into European bikes if you have not noticed

don't they make like 650's now???
My Yamaha 250 kicks my ass, I can't imagine anything faster.
I used to have a raptor but it got uhhh broken
It would smoke all the banchee'ss or most of them
