Does anyone have a video editor thingy???

How can I take a video I made with my digital camera... and edit it?? Like, cut out the ending and beginning (where i'm walking to and from the camera) and then shrink it down to avatar size and make it an animated GIF?

Karma to anyone who could tell me of a program... either one that is cheap to buy, or one that would work on Download.com --- I'm not sure what kind of video format mine is... I think Quicktime??? At least that is the symbol... my Kodak camera took it...

It probably takes the clip in avi format. Get virtualdub from Virtualdub.org.
