Does Anybody Here Have A Credit Card With Cross Country Bank???

what do you mean by a cross country bank?
how about a downhill slope bank?
Sonny Bono would know about that

Did you see that tree that killed Sonny Bono?
No....!
Neither did he!

If you have an account (visa or mastercard) with this bank, pay it all off as soon as possible and close the acct..

One of my best friends works for them in their collections department and he is the type that would never exaggerrate or anything of the sort..He's really a quiet guy but he told me some shit last night that was crazy.

1) the company was started by a mafia group--there is no denial in that--just a legitimate loan sharking business

2) the average return/profit based on company stats on a single cardholder is 250%..meaning, I spend 100 bucks on their credit card, i end up paying at least $250 bucks back..

3) there are hidden fees that are not legally written in the cardholder's contract. The company gets by with this because they are based in Deleware and Deleware has the weakest laws against credit card companies. These fee's can range from 50-150 dollars a month without the customer knowing.

4) The collections department will call cardholder houses and employments up to 50 times a day (this is documented) for cardholders to have past a 5 day period after their due date. Only 5 days!

5) When Cardholders mail in their check/payment a week or two before its due date, the company doesnt tell the cardholder that it takes 5-7 business days to process in the accounting department of the credit card company. So if the payment gets there 6 business days before the due date, the Cardholder can still recieve a 60 dollar late fee.

6) Disputes on the card never work. Again because the laws in Deleware are so weak, the credit card company is its own entity and can do whatever it wants basically.

7) You pay off the balance, cut the card in half, and mail it into the company and even sometimes call in to say you want to close the account it might not always happen. If you do not call, and just mail in a cut up card with the balance being at zero dollars, the company still charges annual and monthly fees and keeps the account open thus accumulating interest on just the monthly/annual fees. And when I say monthly/annual, I mean they have a monthly fee, and they also have an annual fee. You get charged 13 times a year for just having the account.

8) If there is a death in the family, any unfortunate mishap, loss of job, etc., most credit card companies will take documentation and lower interest rates and take off some late fees. Cross Country Bank does not. There is no mercy here. Again, this credit card company was started and still run by a mafia family.

this credit card company is one of the largest and most succsessful scams in America today. They market towards middle to lower income families who want a credit card. Basically the company will give anybody the credit card--regardless of income and/or credit history. Then they take them for all they have.

should I delete this post? I'm not saying anything that isnt true. I dont work for them. Just tryin to help some bro's save their money and not get caught up in a scam..

check the website out and read about the beginnings of the company..9 men in New Jersey I think started a credit card company? Wonder how they got the capital to get that off the ground..

Holy shit I have about 40 all with different names, what should I do? How will this effect the dead people's credit, when their account is not paid?
