Doctor question

Hey bros,

I was wanting to get a script for avodart(dutasteride). I use it for hairloss/ preventitive prostate problems. I have a Dr's appt next Wed and I was wondering if I went in and told my doc I had BPH and had been taking proscar, but want to switch to avodart, would he want to see records or would he be likely to just write it? I don't think telling him I am using AAS is going to work here.
thanks, no flames plz.
any ideas would be most helpful.

BPH is pretty much unheard of in normal 28 year old males. Saying that you have a concern about hairloss because of your family history is probably the way to go about this. What you are asking for then is an off-label script for Avodart. He may/may not give it to you, depending on his comfort level. You can tell him you have been using Propecia to combat Male Pattern Baldness (MPB), but again, he may or may not give a shit. Especially if the Propecia is working.... then he'll wonder why you want to make a switch? (which is a legitimate question if it is working fine).

Don't bring AAS into this - that will get you nowhere and may end up with him writing "steroid abuser" into your medical records...
