A compromise could be that steroids are available to whomever asks for them like any OTC drug, but instead of buying them from a pharmacy, you have to get them from a doctor.

Assuming doctors would actually learn something about steroids before they start scaring people unnecessarily, then that would be a way to ensure people are told about their side-effects, and what to take to minismise them.

We might get the best of both worlds this way: legal availability and people who are informed about their use and monitored by their doctor.

they shouldnt be otc they should be gotten by a doctor , also a doctor should be able to prescribe it like candy or they go to jail , but unless a medical doctor brings it to supreme court liek whats goign on with l-tryptophan , since aas use under a doctor is perfectly safe its unconstitutional to have the illegal

This is just not true.......AAS is not perfectly safe evidenced by the liver toxicity, high BP, high cholesterol and other sides both long and short term which are VERY common. I see plenty of elevated LFT's....but the reason we dont see more is cuz alot of AAS users dont get their LFT's and other things checked partly due to denial. You KNOW they will be high. You KNOW other things like BP and cholesterol and other things will be abnormal. ALOT of you guys KNOW you are hurting yourselves(notice i didnt say ALL you guys).

But i do agree that there is a stigma against using AAS. This is too long a subject to get into.

LFT? Lung function? Lemme know what, I'm superanal about stuff like that and am getting blood work pre, during, and post, as well as hormone panels... (and obviously won't cycle if anything relevant is outta the ordinary) - couldn't find LFT on any of 'em, though.

Thx.

LFT..

is liver function Tests. Once dosages of AAS get above the 400-500mg IM weekly range, then you start to see the problems. Orals really punish the liver.

Ahhh... thx.

My "liver protection cycle" consists of Milk Thistle (1g), Tyler Liver detox (6 tabs/ed), ALA (900mg/day), Calcium D-Glucarate (2 caps/day), as well as some L-Glutathione thrown in because it's cheap. Not to mention 2gal water ed.

My cycle ain't THAT strong, so I'm assuming I'll survive it pretty well... and I don't drink either (est'd 3 drinks a month)...

Any other suggestions or sthg I may have missed? Would appreciate all help I can get, my health insurance sucks :)

Bros. we keep saying steroids need to be legalized. What does that mean. They are legal with prescription.

What needs to happen is that anabolics need to be remove from the controlled substance list.

I believe this will help take some of the stigma off anabolics and more research can be done. Therefore, people who truly need anabolics will have doctors with knowledge about the benefits of AAS (Post menaposal women, elderly, aids patients and others with serious illnesses or injuries. As well as people who would like to use them in lieu of plastic surgery, which has a much higher mortality rate than using aas.)

I would love to be able to walk into my local doctors office. Ask him to run test and if everything was fine - Then doc I want to get big, please prescibe me - anadrol, test cyp, ect... Thanks doc, I will be back in 2 weeks to run the test again.

If my test results are bad. No doc will prescrib them. Which is best.

Any other thoughts?
