Im 40 years old 6’0 242 and I’m not sure about my body fat I have been training 2 years lost a shit load of weight but would like to do my first cycle. So HGH and TRT is not gonna happen according to my doctor my test levels were at 351 and the range is 160-760 so he will not prescribe it so I’m gonna ask a few question and I hope I get some good answers.
I preparing to run test cyp for 12 weeks and the goal is to add and harden muscles and reduce fat
Is it necessary for me to run Nolvadex and clomid and do you thing this will aid me in reaching my goal?
Weeks 1-12 150/mg a week test testosterone cypionate

i really want to keep it simply so if i do have any bad side effect i can narrow them down.

why did you wait till 38 years old to start lifting? what makes you now want to use steroids after all that time of not caring about your body?

the thing once you start running cycles its a major commitment to this lifestyle. you might want to get into far better shape before starting. doesn't sound like with your stats you are

I didn't wait until i was 38 to start lifting i have been active all my life football,bmx,surfing etc but i have seriously start lifting for the last two i have always been in the gym with little to no concentration but i decide to step it up.
 
It sounds like you have been athletic most of your life, so I'm sure you understand the preperation that goes into any intesifying of the activity. Weather it was the difference between on and off season in football, or bulking cutting in bodybuilding. The prep work that goes into an effective cycle is enormous, as you want to start with the most solid base you can, and have a clear work out and diet plan to take it to the next level. It is only then that you can get the most out of a cycle which includes making good gains, and keeping it.

I look at what was being used (suggested on this forum and others) and dropped it by 100mg don't know if that makes any sense but its my first cycle and i still approaching with caution
if it all goes well the first 3 week i may bump it up to 250mg a week. any suggestions?

150mg a week is basically a trt dose so you will be shutting yourself down and trading your own test for just slightly more external test.

250mg a week is a moderate cycle and no I do not recommend changing the dose around mid cycle. pick a dose and stick with it.
