Well I saw the urologist this week. He said NO to HCG in fear of messing up my pituitary and shit.
Anyway, I told him I was doing 100ml/wk instead of 200/eow. He seemed okay with that but appeared perplexed. "I guess that's okay, it's just overlapping a little." lol

I told him that my labido just wasn't improving, though it's really not too bad.
He said that they strive for the 400-500 mark in test results... "Anything more will bring on sides." "If you don't improve by then, I'll have to send you the endocrinologist to see what's going on."
What does that mean? They'll check hgh levels?

Thats typical, doctors treat for low test levels and bringing levels to midrange does what they are out to accomplish. However, HRT clinics are not treating low test, they are treating the physical and more importantly the mental side effects of low test. Solving these problems is not based on dose but how you feel, your mental clarity and focus. Because of this HRT clinics will often put you on more test than a typical doc will because they are treating you for different symptoms and it often takes more than "mid normal" range test levels to overcome those symptoms of depression due to aging and low test.

thanks Zyg...yeah I agree with that, certainly. Many want to err on the side of caution without getting too involved. I'm also not sure that a urologist qualifies as a testosterone specilist, what-so-ever. If he wants to send me to an endocrinologist, i'd say he's admitting that it's gone beyond his scope.
I'm not really open to paying the rates of an independent HRT clinic, some are simply outrageous and rediculous...if i can find one that's reasonable, I'll consider it. I pay $14 for a 10ml bottle of cyp from Watson right now so that's great. They likely have an endorinologist in this medical complex I go to, so that might prove affordable...we'll see.
