Doc asked do i use hormones

I went to see doc to get prescript for sleeping pils and acne cure. I have sleeping problems, because i'm on shift work.

She gaved prescript for topical acne treatment Skinoren. I told her that the acne must be becasue of my job. Then she asked that, now do you use anything extra? I said no! She said that some bodybuilders use hormones and they have side effects like acne.

From, the look of her face, i guess that he knows that i'm on something. I guess doc's knows when they see water retention. I guess it is obvious. And i'm bad lier :)

If your doc asks you that do you use streoids, what will you answer to them?

I'd say yes.......then fuck the hell out of her!

No really.........just tell her the truth.......she can't call the law.....it would violate their Hyp. Oath. If they started turning everybody in........people will stop going to them because the trust would be gone.

Yes of course it would be. Still i will not tell to doc that i use, unless i have some serious problems.

I agree...I would not casually say it......I would only say it if I was having a problem.

I wouldn't trust a doc unless they were really cool. I told my old doc I used(only 1 cycle) and he treated me different after that. Gave me the big "THEY WILL KILL YOU" lecture and all that shit. Then when I had some really bad pain or something not juice related. He would give me non narcotic pain killers cause he said I would probably start getting hooked on them cause I use steroids. And said that if I would hurt my body with steroids then I would likley turn into pill junky too cause I didn't care what I put in my body. Of course the non narcotic did not help. I couldn't believe it. Just my experience. Hope you all have better.

Why the hell are people so scared to tell their doctor? There is a thing called patient confidentiality you know. They cannot tell anyone or they risk being prosecuted and losing their job. If they give you a lecture on gear then change doctor. If the next one does, change again until you get one who's head isn't up his own arse. You are their employer, not the other way around. Suppose the meds they prescribe have a reation with AS that stops them working or at worst is potentially lethal. How the fuck can they help you if they don't know what you are taking already?

i don' think that applies if you break the law and/or if the doc gets a soepena. be careful when you try to interpret the law on your own... unless you are a lawyer.:worried:

The reason you shouldn't tell your doctor that you use steroids, is because it will be on there files. So most likely when you have some sort of problem they link everything back to steroids. Plus not sure but if thinking that i not sure if they would cover the problems you have if they refer it back to your use.

Strengthmonster is right you should tell your doctor. That way you won't end up with some dangerous drug interaction with the AS. Also doctor patient confidentiality is protected under the law. The only time they can disclose your personal info is upon court filing of an autopsy. The smart thing to do is make sure they know what you are doing. Besides many doctors anymore won't give you that steroids are evil lecture.

hey bro I think you answered you question in your other post
about not seeing strength gains on your cycle with the
statment above your now getting enough quality sleep to
fully recover, this is a very important factor in muscle repair,
did the doc give you anything to help you sleep?

Go ahead and tell your doctor. They can't turn you in. If your doctor has a problem with that and is not willing to work with you, find a new doc. I had to get an abcess drained (ouch) and I told him what it was from. Since then he has been doing my bloodwork regularly and I even got scripts for clomid and proscar. next time I am in there I'll have to see about a script for arimidex.:D

this is tough: your doc needs to know what's going on with you to treat you best (and they have to be confidential),

BUT,

once something goes into your chart, your insurance company has access to it, and they can classify you as a "high risk" patient. plus, i don't trust any insurance company at all.

be careful.
