Do you wash/wax your own car?

If so, what products do you use?

Or, do you have it detailed professionally?

Just curious since detailing is my hobby.

I don't think washing your own car is that good. I take it to a good car wash. But I always detail it myself. I always use meguires products. I think they are much better than mothers.

when i first got my car i bought all this shit for it. I clayed it like 2x and that made it shine like a son of a bitch....but after a couple months doing all the work got old and i take it to a 8 dollar car wash down the block.

I love to wash and wax my own car. I used Turtle wax soap, and Meguiar's products in terms of fine cut cleaner, polish, and nxt generation wax.s

I have the dealer do it when I have them change the oil/filter. $90 inside and out.
Car looks like new when I get it back.
They give me a free loaner to drive.

BUT not the vette. I do that with soft everything for zero scratches.
All Myers products.

I hardly ever wash my car, let alone wax it.

Hell, I hardly ever clean the inside. In the course of 1 year I vaccumed my car once and detailed the inside maybe 3x.

I kinda hate having a black dash too, because every little piece of fuzz shows up.

NXT is pretty good stuff ... it's my choice on lighter colors.

LOL. I haven't washed my car in over a year and I'll probably never do it again. I'm a country boy now. I should have been this way my whole life.

a long but soft bristled wide head brush on a telescoping handle works well....if u get a system down pat washing doesn't take all that long. a 20 minute 70-80 mph blast down I-10 drys it off.
