I saw this documentary on this lady in Russia that could move things across a table like spoons, forks, salt shakers, and such. They came to the conclusion that she can use 1-2% more of her brain than the average person.

No. Most people are not even capable of thinking much less having paranormal powers.

I saw this one thing on 20/20 many years back..there was this old guy like 80 yrs old and they had him and his wife sleeping with a video monitor on them because he was having sleep problems and right out of nowhere this guy got up and lifted up this dresser and tossed it around. I definately think there's some kind of "latent powers" or what have you that can be triggered somehow under certain conditions.

also, there was this indian guy back in the 70's that was videotaped in a controled environment starting a fire like 2 feet in front of him. Without any tools of course. I imagine you can dig something up online about it somewhere.
I have powers.... awesome powers....
I can walk into a mall, the beach, a resturant and instantly manipulate emotions and desires of the masses.
I have an Invisibility Power that cloaks me from the view of straight men. At least that is how they act. In malls, they stop and instantly start doing window shopping or dart into stores, at the beach they bow their heads and furiously become engrossed in their magazines, at resturants they swivel their necks and stare out the windows when they see me approaching.
Women are instantly affected by The Perfect Man's Aura. They can not resist me. In the first 15 seconds, they have already told me their true age, weight and whether or not they are multi orgasmic. I fear I could rob a bank on charm alone, and the teller would not report it until the end of her shift.
My powers of influencing the masses are not to be trifled with... just the other year, I started that Capri Pants Fashion Craze just on a whim. And look how foolish all of you looked in them.

I personally believe we all possess powers that will someday revolutionize the world. I dont think esp and telekinesis are too far out there. Perhaps even enrgy projection, i just dont think we are mutire enough to deal with it at the moment. Time will tell.
On a personal note, i have a habit of picking up the phone before it rings. I will pick the phone up, and hear a dial tone, and be like "i swore that shit just rang". I will hang up and take 2 steps and "ring". Kinda weird.

My wife knows what im thinking at all times. She knows me better than I know myself. I swear she is a witch. If I go out and check out some hottie and imagine myself fucking her my wife knows. No shit! Its happened a million times. All our friends will say the same thing. LIke she will start talking about something and someone else will be like I was just thinking about that. Right before we got married about 9 years ago I fucked up and did something stupid and told no one and 2 years later she told me she had a dream about it and ask me. She knew details that nobody else could have ever known. It comes in handy alot also.

funny i see this thread today...last night i got home real late and i threw some pizza in the little oven heater and i was about to go upstairs and sign on the net...then i remembered that i had had a dream the previous night about it catching fire...so i'm like "nah its not worth it" so i just start cleaning up around the kitchen and i look over and i cant believe what i see...the fucking thing was on fire...the tinfoil inside it had caught...so i took the thing outside and put it in the snow...i might not be typing this right now if i had gone upstairs...it woulda been my fault cuz i left it alone...you just assume shit wont catch on fire...so yeah i think that we may have some hidden power as far as ESP...my sis the other day had a dream about a friend in an accident and it happened...i know we can all think up times that we were right...but then again there are times when we are way off so its never persistent enough to depend on

Actually this is entirely true. Only 10% of brain mass is composed of neurons, the remaining amount is composed of glial cells that provide no neurological activity.
