I think its a bunch of shit-who are these government people, who I've never even met, to tell me what I can and cant take? Fuck its safety, this is the land of the "free", but were not fucking free. I lose 1/3rd the money I make to taxes, and for what? They tell you how fast to drive, that pot and steroids are dangerous, yet cigarettes and alcohol are perfectly fine, and now they want to take our right to firearms away. Its fucking ridiculous. I think what we've all forgotten is that WE created the government FOR THE PEOPLE, to help us, not control us. But all they do is control, and I guarantee that it wont end if we don't do something, and the next thing you know our free speech is gone to and were basically china. Its fucking ridiculous. Back to the original question, roids should be illegal to sell like alcohol, but legal for doctors to prescribe and monitor-I agree that it shouldn't be sold otc or at liquor stores, but doctors should have the final say. Also, the government is basically going to keep them illegal for three major reasons, irregardless of the amount of people they hurt. 1.once they've said something is dangerous, they wont go back-why?-because then we'll question their judgement, and if we(the general population) ever figure out what they're real reasons are behind the shit they pull, wed revolt.#2. They don't get very much tax money from the manufacturing of roids, but idiot Clinton has been allocating some 4 BILLION of OUR tax dollars to fight the WAR on drugs, and they like free money.
#3. Control. Control is the bottom line with the government, and we the people have let them have it. Now we cant stop it. I find it ironic that even though there are no studies showing pot to be 1/2 as dangerous as alcohol or tobacco, the latter two are legal. I watched my grandfather smoke and drink himself to death, I've seen families ruined by alcohol, and how many times does that happen with pot? When was the last time you saw someone in jail for beating his wife and kids because he smoked a joint? KIll someone in a car accident? Die of cirrhosis of the liver? Lung cancer? Yet we the people don't say a damn thing. And now they've taken away our right to enhance our lives and physiques with steroids and doctors rights to monitor our safety, and we don't say shit. AGAIN. Where will it end? You know those futuristic movies where we all walk around like robots, we cant speak and have no guns to protect ourselves? Where we march to work in long single file lines with flying robots monitoring us?...

Anabolic Steroids should be legalized just like any other "risky" substance. It is more than a little hypocritical for this country to be the largest producer and consumer of Alcohol and tobacco and outlaw a substance that improves health.

ya knowwhat sucks in todays world if your fat u get weight loss pills,if your balidngu can get drugs to try to regrow hair,you can get stuff to pep u up or calm you down ,short kids canget growth hormone, for god sakes if a manwants to be a women he can get estrogen legalls but if a guy wants to add some muscle to his frame hes a criminal it boggles my mind but if we were al lsmart wed realize in the20-30'same thign happened to alcohol until ppl stood up and started fighting i started writing letters to my congressman and wrirting letters to magazinesliek flexand planet muscle to encourage there readers to write to there congressman our best chance to have steroids unclassified is now while georgw bush is in office true hios daddy signed it but george jr is into fitness and wellbeing i think its time we make ourselves heard!!

Legalizing steroids...
I couldn't agree with you guys more about everything talked about in this topic. The only thing I am afraid of is seeing thousands of 14 year old kids who have older brothers or hear about steroids on television and decide to start taking it themselves. Of course there is nothing to prevent this now, but the closer to being legal that steroids become... the easier it is for kids to get their hands on it.
On the other hand... if steroids were legalized then there would be a lot more research and testing done by top pharmacies and colleges to find safer, and better ways to use it. Imagine if GNC and HiHealth started carrying steroids... you'd have so many new products coming out every few months. Probably safer and more productive too.
I think at this time, steroids should stay illegal. They have no reason being classified with Cocaine and Heroin, but they are a dangerous substance that needs to be controlled. Plus... imagine if everyone was on it =) What would be the fun in that!?

no i dont think steroids should be in gnc or walk into a pharmacy and see tyleno,toothpase and deca no i think a adult over 18 should be able to just go to his doctor and say i want steroids to improve my physic then he gets em andis monitored i mean doctors prescribe ridalin and prozac liek it was candy. and also with kids what makes you think tons of kids arent using them now when they are illegal?
