Do you think baking is a cheesy xmas present?

I'm very low on $$$ right now because I just started a new job and I don't make anything until January. I'm thinking for some people I could whip up a cake or pie or brownies or something like that (only for the women of course). Much cheaper and it shows a little bit of effort and thought. Even my mom would probably be blown away by something like that because I never do it.

What do you think? Would you be a little bitter if someone baked you something for xmas?

it's not the $$ Bro, you answered your own question. Also, hand drawn cards are nice too, I've gotten some of those, that was SUPER cool, not that they were good, it's just the time it took to do one and it was the best that they could do...
