Do you interrupt your cycle if ill?

Another newbie question: if you're in the middle of a cycle, and you have the crap luck to get ill - like flu - or injured seriously enough that you have to stop all training for a week or two, do you stop the cycle? Do you stop the high protein intake too? And how soon after you start training again do you start another cycle?

No matter what people tell you, it all comes down to what you decide... Can you handle the pain? Can you work through the sickness?

got strep throat for first week and half of current cycle and 3 weeks into it got shin splints in left forearm. Kept with it, throat is fine now, I wrap my forearm and wrist before every workout and had to change some of the exercises but kept intensity the same.

Now up 17lbs with less than 2 weeks left, and strength is still increasing.
 
I'd personally con't if it were just a simple illness, like a mild flu or cold, etc. Keeping the juices flowing. A week out of the gym is not going to destroy your cycle or gains. Keep your diet and fluid intake as high as you can stand though.

If it were a major injury that would keep you out for two or more solid weeks that you cannot workout 'around' a certain muscle group, then I'd say cut your losses, reserve your gear for down the road.

I'd say time on/time off still applies. And I'd probably definitely get more gear and get back as soon as that threshold has passed, personally.
 
2 weeks left of my 7 week cycle. at 215 now, and wanted to get to 220 by the end. Now that i started insulin i should have no problem achieving that goal, so i can be around 220 start of my next cycle in sept.

of course you can keep ALMOST all gains if you use a worthwhile post cycle recovery plan. My losses will be minimal if any b/c i'm running slin for another week after my cycle before i take off 3 weeks and then pick it back up again.
