a significant other or spouse who is NOT into fitness lifting or whatever? I'm just curious. Do we tend to gravitate toward those who share the same interest? or do you really not care if the person you are with is into fitness at all?

My wife does her morning walks along the beach with a friend and some occasional yoga. She thinks I'm out of my mind doing the workouts I do.

My SO works out when the mood strikes but I wouldn't say she's into fitness. We met because we're both computer geeks....then I realized she was hot. :)

I am not particularly attracted to girls who don't workout. An interest in being healthy and strong is a big turn on.

I am single and considered a born-again virgin by many. However, I find myself much more attracted to fitness/Bbing girls now that I live this lifestyle. Obviously I have always found fit girls hot, but I now am more attracted to the mentality that BBing women have. I find them more independent and stronger (mentally) than girlie-girls, for the most part. wanna fuck?

My honey doesn't work out like I do... he's fit in the physical sense. I don't really mind though...I do it because it makes ME happy & in turn it makes him happy as well.

Most of my SO have been into fitness. I don't think I could be with someone that is not, at least not long term for me it is a lifestyle. I need someone that understands why it is important to me and I think most people just think it is for vanity sake unless they are into it as well.

Dude! I think I see the Star of Christ shining from your teeth! Is the next coming of god(dess) of choice coming soon?

well, i am a true being of light.....at least mange boy says so

last gf was into fitness, one before that was more into rec drugs, one never knows what one may find attractive.

I;m just asking because it is hard for me to see myself with someone who isnt into lifting and working out. Someone who gets NO exercise is just not attractive to me no matter how they loook.

I'm in the same boat.

I like it when someone takes pride in the appearance and health and takes steps to improve it.

I'd take the average build girl who works out 3 times a week over the thin rail who eats like shit and never lifts a finger.

I have my husband to thank for telling me to:

1 - stop playing with those baby weights and train heavy
2 - stop wasting my time doing a lot of cardio
3 - eat more food

When I finally listened, I began to get results. Thing is, I like all the training, nutrition, knowledge, etc. more than he does. I especially like all scientific/medical aspects, which he could care less about. He'll read some of the information I have, but he doesn't eat it up like I do.

We both appreciate good food, so by replacing my fat with muscle I now have a higher metabolism so I don't have to worry about gaining weight. Actually I do weigh more, but I'm smaller. Muscle is MAGIC :D Thanks for kicking my butt into the weight room hubby!~

I would find it hard to date someone who isn't into thw whole scene again, it is hard expaining and they tend to have sloppy bodies.

I think only 1 or 2 of my boyfriends since I started dating hasn't been into lifting, a sport or some other type of fitness. I am definitely more attracted to a "well built" guy.
