Do you have problems with money???

I make enough money.

The problem is that I am usually optimistic and deals constantly go south. For example....I booked 5 weddings in a week or so then went a month with only 3 deals and one was small.

Keeping up with technology is a never ending expense. Paper, printers, ink, memory, hard drives, software, continuing ed, advertising, web page etc etc.


Plus gas for running back and forth to the studio to meet irresponsible people. They show up late and think nothing of it.

One couple showed up late for the first appt, mised their second appt, then were surprised when I said CYA.

Fuck....I need the money but I am not going to clean the damned floor with my tongue.

Hell is being in a semi tech business during a recession. We have to spend lots yet income is down and advertising costs are up.

Money is a big problem for me ...

I'm 19 and I have my own apartment which I pay $395/mo. (utilities included). I was working for a graphic design firm as a part-time employee working full-time hours but business is really slow at this time of year so I they haven't had any work for me the 5 weeks and it's killing my bank account. My only source of income is from the bowling alley that I work at. I'm just starting to realize that if I want to avoid from going under, I had better save as much as I can by not spending as much as I do. Also, I can't really afford to eat as much as I have been so in the past two weeks, I've been eating only one meal a day but usually pig out on the weekends (I get free food and lots of it). Right now, I'm trying to get another job so I can live a little more comfortably.

I'm kinda upset right now though because the money that I was trying to save for college is going towards survival and it's killing me. I will get another job this week so long as it's within biking distance from where I live (I can't afford a car yet).
