Do you have a Dutch Oven (cast iron)?

Funny you should post this, I just bought one over last weekend and used it once while camping the same weekend. It cooks badass but theres a big learning curve. And the maintenance and upkeep is a bitch. Theres a lot of info on the webs about it so check it out.

Unless a "Dutch Oven" is modern slang for some dirty anal-sex term, who the heck would want to cook in an old rusty pot? ... unless it was pick3's old rusty pot.

Yes, I have one......I'm not sure where it is right now tho.....don't use it very much....

I would say you don't really need one....depends on how much you cook...

I don't cook much, but I'd like to cook more ... pretty much suck at it :(

What dishes work best in a Dutch Oven? Stuff like chicken/beef stew I'm guessing.

Yes, I think they are better for stews and the like.....they can be pricey tho....

Why not get a crock pot??

They are great for campfire cookouts. You can pretty much cook whatever you want in them. They can be bought relatively cheap <much like P3> and are easy to maintain and last forever.

1.

Blowing hard ass wind under the covers several times and building up stench while your old lady is brushing her teeth and getting ready for bed, then when she gets into bed, pull the covers over her head and yell "Dutch Oven" and let her enjoy the stench of your ass gas for at least 30 seconds.

"Jonas nearly crapped his Underoos preparing a Dutch Oven for his special lady!"
