Let me state that I think you can become educated without going to college or an university, but I have sat in too many interviews were I have been told that not having a degree is holding me back.

I work in IT, Senior Systems Engineer, but I am getting a degree in Finance with a minor in Economics because money makes the world go round, and I have sat in plenty of computer classes already

Oh yeah, I know that's a really competitive area. The job market here is really crazy and you need every edge possible.
By this time next year I'll be back in school, a bra fitter at Nordstrom (those chicks make bank, lol), or in real estate with hubby. Right now I'm doing the mom thing at home.
Anyway good luck! I'm sure when you have your degree you'll feel great. Hopefully you get some good input from the degreed folks here.
have a BBA in accounting and getting a masters in accounting in may. if you think you need a degree to advance then you probably do. doesnt mean its a bad thing, it just is.
the job I have waiting for me has made my pay go up 94% from the last job i was at in 2004 before going back to school, and up 65% from what I would have been making at that same job when i graduate in may. pretty good investment of time if you ask me.
