Do you give money to charity or NGOs?

I was wondering what sort of organisations people here support?

I give $10 a month to Greenpeace

$10 a month to the peoples resource centre (a sort of leftie self-help organisation)

I sponsor a kid in Africa through World Vision (do you have World Vision in the USA?)

$10 a month to the peace movement.

$25 a month to WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals)

Um....

I proudly refuse to support charities and NGOs.

I give money to church ministries that are 100% accountable. They use it for purposes I support, and since I have limited resources, I have to be wise about who I give my money to.

Oh, and don't ever cry that, "What about the poor?" crap I hear from liberal Christians.

There's an abundance of people, religious and otherwise, heading to Hell at Mach 3 who give 1,000X more than I ever could to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, clothe the naked, all WITHOUT sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. The funds to help those in need are out there. Much of which is being embezzeled.

Nobody promises life will be fair.

Fortunately, God is fair.

Many of said people give money as a means of allying their guilt. They too know they're heading to hell at mach 3, so their are trying to hedge their bets.

Give money panhandlers on a daily basis.
