It's already starting for me. It's not that bad, but it still sux.

Fall and Winter represent death.

Yes, when Summer becomes fall and Winter becomes Spring. Like clockwork, every September & March. Nothing major. I try to keep myself busy or focus on other things. I also come down with the worse cold symptoms. For some reason, I didn't get sick this September.

I feel very lonely today for some reason. I think I'm use to my daughter being here now and she's at her friend's house.

Is there something you could be doing? Maybe go on a drive.

Yep - I've always been like that. I grew up in N. MN so when the seasons changed, it came w/ a vengeance ... well maybe it was just the drag-ass duration of the change period -- like 2 months of "freezing drizzle" between spring - summer & fall-winter.

When I moved to FL it was awesome because "winter" was like a beautiful summer day w/o the 95 degree weather. However diving got a bit nippy.

In Atlanta, right now its beautiful -- very refreshign 65 degrees. I hope its not like last yr -- "freezing drizzle" all winter.

Waiting for a chance to arrange a move back to FL.

The diving sucks in Atlanta.

The start of cooler weather always makes me feel better. Heat and humidity always piss me off as I can't stand being all sticky and sweat the second I walk outside. To be able to open the windows and breath the fresh air all the time always makes for a nice day.

I would think the humidity, bugs and threat of hurricanes would suck in Florida? California was awesome. No bugs, little rain, great weather, and surprisingly quiet.

LOL. Yeah sweetie, I could be doing lots of things but I don't know where to start. I should go visit my parents. Their situation is heartbreaking.

"Normally" (like most of the 12 yrs I lived on the SE coast) hurricanes were essentially a non-issue. The humidity was never really that bad because there was always an ocean breeze or at least a rum & diet coke. Note that the last few yrs in Minnesota they've hit several weeks of temps near 100 w/ excruciating humidity and my parents never had air conditioning in their house / cabin. That is fuggin misery. I never noticed any bugs. Only some sugar ants in the house in the summer. The bugs were worse out west closer to the Everglades.

And, as always, when comparing FL & CA re: natural disasters... you can see a hurricane coming. Earthquakes are like a suprise bday party. You hope it doesn't' happen but they pop up when you least expect them.

Dude you live in Texas how bad can winter be???

Me I do at times if I start to feel down I go for a tan that helps a lot light therapy.

Doesn't bother me much, but wifey gets S.A.D. every year. A little around labour day (end of summer), but more so in Feb.

Interestingly its started already. One of the things I hated about my new townhouse that I bought about 1 yr ago, is that the sun didnt' hit the back deck. I actually posted on here in the spring when I saw that w/ the season change, the sun did actually blast the deck in the afternoons all summer. Well, it doesn't anymore again.

Shit.

Isolation. being kept in doors by lousy weather. i gotta get out of this place, if it's the last thing i ever do...........

I'm the same year round so I wouldn't know. Always have ups and downs, but the color of the sky and air temp matters not.

I'm similar, I despise hot weather and could never live in a place like Florida... but I'd be ecstatic in Norway.
