Those dirty fucking bastards. I'm tired of getting raped by my phone company. Twice now they have never sent me my bill, then they cut off my service and charged me a $30 reconnect fee. The fucking rep just says, "Well, we have it in the computer that we sent you a bill." Well gee fucking wiz! The fucking computer has spoken. It must be true, then. Fuck those fucking bastards.

Southwestern Bell. No, they didn"t call me or anything. If they had, I could have paid them over the phone right then and there. At my old apartment, they were charging me for every stupid voice messaging/caller ID/call blocker/whatever that they had. I was getting billed about $120 a month, but my itemized list of calls was only coming out to $15 or so. So I should have been paying more like $45 (basic fee + long distance calls.) It took a couple of phone calls to get the shit straightened out. I'm seriously considering getting a cell phone and using a different server.

Home service. I think I'm going to look into a cell phone. It would be more convenient and cheaper in the long run. And I hate having to be the collector with my roommates. It's a big pain in the ass.

I have a mobile phone and home service. I dont even know why I signed up for home service. I never pick up my phone at home anyway. I guess I love giving my money to useless, and bloated phone monopolies.

Yeah, how come there's almost zero recourse, short of switching to a different server? It's like they can basically charge whatever they want, and unless you want to fuck your credit, you've gotta pay. God I get pissed about this crap.

SWB is a bitch whore of a phone company. I have to contact them on a monthly basis because of where I work. Its hard as fuck to find a rep that knows what I need. I once was on the phone for 2 1/2 hours trying to get some late & tax charges dismissed. They kept saying "Oh thats a billing question let me transfer you" then i would talk to the Billing rep and then they would say "Oh thats a Tax exempt problem let me transfer you". I finally said, "No,don't you dare transfer me again, so far I've talked to mary, bob, susan, mark, carrie.... and they kept transfering me around. Just give me a freakin fax number so I can send this shit to you so can fix my fucking problem.

Dealing with phone companies is the closet thing to self mutliation.

ma bell's long distance rates pushed me into buying a better computer!

yahoo chat and instant messenger, a webcam and microphone has saved me enough on long distance bills to make the payments on the new computer.

Look into Verizon Wireless for a cell phone they have some great planes available now that will cover your long distance as well as local calling. We switched from a land line to wireless since we have a cable modem at home.
