I don't feel I have the worst luck, but I feel like everything I have, i've had to struggle for. I never seem to have things just fall in my lap. I am grateful for all that I have, but never satisfied either. Seems I have had to claw my way for every inch I get from day 1.

some people seem to float through life nonchalantly, and just have things happen....

and things that I have no control over, never seem to go my way either....like being in the right place at the right time. or having a certain person that you noticed, notice you.

some people seem to just have bad luck. and some obviously bring it on themselves.

what is your experience?

Wow, That`s EXACTLY like me. I always say I could have done this or that differently but then I stop and think I probably would`nt be with my wife or daughter, Then I feel better about it all.

one time my ex gf walked into a bar, 5 mintues before they had a drawing for a trip to Disney, and she won the fucking thing....

that type of shit happened all the time for her....

Showed up for a new job once; the boss gave two of us something stupid to do. I did it. The other guy bitched about it. He was gone the next day. I moved right on to what I was supposed to be doing -- it was just the boss' way of checking our attitudes on Day One.

I wouldn't say that I'm lucky at all. Things that I want to happen just don't. However, I wouldn't call that being unlucky either.

After all, luck is preparation meeting opportunity. Nothing more. Nothing less.
