des this ever happen to you? like you speak to someone, or ask them a question and you freak the crap outta them, even though you dont really wanna

im trying to smile a lot more and its amazing how much it helps but im still doing this to some people, and its not good :(

how do you make people feel relaxed around you?

I usually behead one person in the group that puts everyone else at ease because they know that I'm done with cutting off heads for the day. I'm down to one a day...trying to give it up....

lol :) thanks guys.....i now have techniques to get me into prison, and to ensure my poularity once im there

Try skipping when you come into a room.

Go ahead and try it, no matter how hard you try, you just can't intimidate people when you're skipping.

yes, my physical outward appearance (shaved head, 'stache and goatee, stretched ear lobes and 6-0 240 pound body) does tend to intimidate SOME peeps at first glance.

after they get to know me they find out what a kind, polite, friendly classy guy i really am!!:D

when i whip out the ninja suit and the sword some people freak out and run for their lives, but who can blame them? my sword is fucking huge!

Yea...I can "intimidate" some people. Wearing a very slight smile helps out a lot. So do casual clothes.

Height or muscles serve to intimidate people. So does a serious expression.

hmm.....i have a very 'dark' face sometimes in terms of expression test boy, and the beard probably doesnt help me either rnch. i'll try altering the clothes and dressing smart more often. people seem a bit nicer towards me and more relaxed then

i think i have a tendency to bark at people sometimes......and maybe not realise it

I don't know about people, but my shirts are scared to shit of me, and I suspect my pants are on edge.

But then you start speaking with your southern drawl and with the general English of a 3rd grader, and then they start to pity you. ;)

citrus what are your stats, you look like a pro wrestler or some shit.

6'1sih 2'ish, 225ish around 12-13%ish bodyfat... emmm... I'm a Libra, I like quiet dinners by candlelight and long walks by the beach, I feel the man should always open the door and pick up the check (unless the woman is a bitch, then she pays her own way home and gets a fucking cab)...

Everywhere I go, I often get asked if I am a cop. Looks can be quite deceiving. With me I think it must be the shifty, suspicious eyes. People are always asking me if something is wrong, that I look mad or upset, when in fact I'm either in deep thought or just relaxing. My look betrays me.

People sometimes react to me like partying kids who just had their parents walk in. Strange.

I've been mistaken for a mean person a time or two...

I hate it when people are intimidated by my appearance. I'm down in weight now, which helps, but usually I'm 6'4" 240lbs with about 19" arms. I sometimes at night had people cross the street a block down rather than pass me on the sidewalk.

Worse, at the Chess Park on the beach they've seen me put 3-4 scumbags through the picnic tables... so I'm always going to raise eyebrows there.

Other than that, I smile easily and laugh a lot. It helps.

true, i AM a victim of the louisiana public school system; but remedial english in college has helped to lessen the overall effect. i beeeeeeeez a college grad-jit!!!!!

what's YOUR excuse?:D

Some people are just naturally intimdating. It is the way someone carries themselves or their mannerism. I think smiling and joking more can ease that, but someone persona will always be that way.
