do you ever feel on the edge on insanity while taking your ECA stack?

I sure do. I take Charge which is fairly easy on me but damn, sometimes I feel like I am about to slip into insanity. You guys ever feel like that?

its chemical... it is adrenaline levels and dopamine levels going all over the place.

if you have a anxiety disorder already, eca will put on the brink of insanity. i didn't need antidepressants until i took that stuff for a while. never again. sanity is a good thing... from now on i am only using dnp:)

My girl took it for a couple days and it turned her into a cranky bitch so she isn't taking it anymore.....thank god! I just feel really anxious and all I can do is smoke a bowl to take the edge off......:havoc:

Why would you use that shit to cut weight? When i want to drop some pounds, i take a big dump and then rub one out. Works wonders.

After using ECA too much, it started making me hypoglycemic all the time and feel really fucked up. I have started using bromocriptine to maintain a state of leanness and it is very nice. No tweaked out feeling, just a nice dopamine boost.

Bromocriptine, brand name Parlodel, is a dopamine agonist. 2.5mg daily in the morning works for most people to regulate hormones on a caloric deficit or at a state of leanness below one's set-point. Dopamine is supposedly a major pathway of leptin expression. Letpin is the master hormone that decreases as bodyfat decreases or calorie restriction occurs. Therefore, bromocriptine helps to correct some of the metabolic and hormonal changes that occur with dieting. It seems to work for me --- it decreases my appetite so far. It is purported to preserve lean mass very well. It cannot be used with ECA or clenbuterol.

Is this over the counter or perscription? If perscription, how would one go about getting it?

I don't know if it is the ECA or the fact that I have no carbs in my system, but I will often feel disconnected for what is going on around me. That and I end up with the attention span of a toddler.

Does this mean that your body uses it to synthesize dopamine, like 5-HTP for serotonin? I was just wondering about stuff to increase/preserve dopamine levels this morning (although I must admit, for purely hedonistic purposes) and was going to post a thread.

I don't like ECAs. I really prefer NYC instead. It doesn't make me as jittery.....but sometimes it almost makes me feel euphoric. It also makes my nose a little runny.

dnp will prevent tryptophan conversion to serotonin, leading to depression in those that are predisposed to sensitivity in that area

bromocriptine has some really annoying side effects - esp as the dose exceeds 2.5mg/day, and they build up over time.
I was doing 5mg a day and after 3-5 days would puke all the time and had blinding headaches and was so tired I was nervous to drive.

NYC goes well with dnp to help with perceived energy levels and doesn't leave you jittery.

ECA on its own never really bothers me, but makes me really tired at the end of the day, like I had been running for hours.
ECA and Yohimbe will give you a great high feeling the first few times that you do it, but then you build up a tolerance to it and it takes more to get that same feeling (sound familiar).

actually bromocriptine is an agonist - it fits the dopamine receptors blocking dopamine.
it is used for Parkinson's disease and is now being played with for Alzheimer's patients as well

I went from a cheap store brand of ECA back to Xen and felt a big difference.

Like Night and Day

I frequently find myself tapping my toe to some song when trying to go to sleep.

Thanks for the info dude.

Today is my 14th day on 2.5mg bromocriptine upon waking. For the first week or so, driving to work in the morning was strange --- I felt wierd. I don't get that anymore. What I feel now is a constant "boost" --- a fraction of the "wierd" feeling that is more positive than negative. My appetite is also fairly suppressed.

Happy, are you saying I may experience sides later on? It is cumulative? Or do you think it is very individual?

If any of you have not tried Labrada's Charge yet I recommend you do. Much better than Xenadrine and all the other ECA's I have tried. 1 pill/day does the job.

plornive - it was cumulative for me.
I used it for a few weeks and had no problems with it at half a tab a day. no build up of issues, just made me horny and sleep better.
then I used one tab a day and didn't feel quite right.
then two tabs and quickly in a day or so felt really bad.
then when I went back down to smaller doses still felt like crap.

then I decided to punt it and stop fucking with my system and now don't do anything.

I end up less cut, but more stable in the head.

I personally feel that the reaction to bromocriptine differs from person to person, but I'm no doctor (although my job entails learning much about various drugs).

HS: do you do development for a drug co.?

BTW Benadryl (diphenhydramine HCl) actually increases Dopamine levels. I remember reading in a PDR several years ago that it was sometimes given to Parkinson's patients.

Hmmm.....

Seeing as after work are my prime overeating hours, I just might try taking a couple after work and just crashing......(didn't realize before reading this thread that dopamine and leptin/appetite were related)

nah - I work for a company now that does work for drug companies. we get to see some new stuff before the FDA has approved it.
the rest are already in the PDR, which is a fun read.

i was thinking of getting the Charge just for energy before workouts, but I already have high anxioty should I stay away from it?

Sometimes it will make me pissed off and moody. it did this for my ex but i suspect she had other mental problmes besides being a female. i believe she honestly needs to seek psychiatric (sp?)help. so, if ur girl is taking it, get her off!

do you ever get your hands on stuff, or do you just do computer programming that deals with the drugs?

I love reading the PDR. I knew a guy who would look up a drug he would like to try, then memorize the symptoms to a t, then go to the doctor. he had a pretty high succes rate.

the funniest part of the PDR are the side effects. there is a baseline that they all have that are basically side effects of living.
every drug has them on the list, as does any placebo. usually headache and upset stomach, as well as trouble sleeping.

as for me getting hands on stuff, nope, I'm all on the computer. we only deal in data about the drug.

so if a really cool super duper drug that say makes you grow a 2nd penis was created and there was massive demand for it, would you know about it before everyone else? and know when it was gonna be released? and most crucially be able to buy shares? ;)

lol - technically yes, but I have all kinds of things I've signed saying I can't talk about such things.

ah well......pity :)

i just remember peole finding out (prematurely) about a company called british biotech releasing a revolutionary new cancer drug and its stock skyrocketed and its CEO's were like squillionaires in a day

Charge makes you anxious but not too terribly bad. It is 10 times better than Xenadrine in my opinion. Just try taking 1 pill in the morning with food- for workouts take it 30-40 minutes before and you'll feel like beating the crap out of the weights! It works for me. I just dont take it every day- my brain cannot handle it some days. I took 1 today and feel fine...sorta mellow actually. It is great with some kind bud too :)
