Do you believe in Angels ?

Despite some flaws in the script, a slow plot, I think City of Angels is an underrated movie

First the performance of both Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan is awsome

Then the script is original and not too much predictable

The soundrack is great (Sarah McLachlan,Paula Cole, Jimi Hendrix)

The dialogue is rich

The cinematography is breathtaking, especially the sunrise and sunset meeting of angels and at the end

All in all a pretty decent adaptation of the Wim Wenders's "Wings of Desire"

yeah that movie is somewhat underrated. it is decent, definitely not cages best work. but it reminds me of youve got mail for some reason. also the scene where he goes off the building is a lot like vanilla sky.other than that its good. it may have come out before both of those if im correct, but when a movie reminds me of another i dont like that. originality doesnt do it for me. just my opinion.

She played in shitty movies but also in a few good ones (this one, In the Cut and a few others that are not romantic girly movies)

Wenders' version. Far superior, but angels still pulled my strings.
