when you are trying to get a job at a fire department do they test for steriods??? does anyone know?

No they don't bud. As with all employers they do a test for drugs of abuse, i.e. coke, pot, methamphetamines and the like, recreational drugs. Unless you give them a reason to test they won't because it's a seperate test and somewhat expensive, not part of a routine pre-employment screen.

I could be wrong mind you. I am not a fireman, I am a lab tech. But I can tell you that after 6 years of collecting and processing pre-employment and random drug screens as well as tox. panels for the E.R. I have never sent out a test for gear.

yea, most jobs wont test for AAS...expensive and results take a while.
