Looking for a program I can use to play around with decorating a room.

I punch in the dimensions of the room - either entire room, or one wall - then I can type in dimensions of "furniture" objects and move them around playing with the room and arrangement.

Any ideas? I fucking tired of graph paper.

They used to have some 3D modelling software packages that would do that stuff. There is an Autocad LT, but it's not going to hold your hand like you describe, using it would still require some CAD experience.

Go to best buy - there's like 10 off the shelf packages that can do all that.

Or google sketchup if you're a cheap shit. But it's not as pretty as the off the shelf ones.

There's no such thing as cad for newbies. You can't dumb-down a cad program.
