Do strong men use steroids? HELP!

Please help me to convince a friend that people that compete in World Championships in Powerlifting and World Strongest Man use some sort of Doping (usually steroids or Growth Hormone or both). I was trying to concinve him, explaining that steroids do play a large role when it come to strength and recovery. But he thinks that one can train himself up naturally, just by training a longer period of time i.e. 10 years instead of 5. What do you think, do competitiors in World Strongest Man use drugs?

I have just as much respect for the chemically enhanced as natural. What matters is that you do things for the right reasons -- and thats what I respect.

plus you still have to put in the diet and training, especially those strong man competitiors. Its not as though they shoot a gram of test and watch Drream of Jeanie all day. They are training & eating and training some more. It still requires very hard work to be successful.

If you take a day off, somewhere someone is still working, and when you meet in competition he who worked harder wins.
