Do roids cause hemoroids?

JohnRambo said:
I'm fearing that I have hemoroids, I have blood in my droppings at every toilet-visit. I haven't taken it serious, but to day I whiped out enough blood to make me curious.

Is this hemoroids? Have the roids caused it? How should I approach it? And, if I see a doctor, will he find traces of AS?(been clean for 3weeks now, after 4weeks on OT)

you get roids from heavy lifts, look on the brighter side, now you have prep. h for your nips and the hemmy's :p

This makes me wonder - I know that aspirin based products can cause stomach irritation and can make some bleed when they take a dump - could the same thing occur with the use of 17aa orals?

I know OTC pain killers like ibuprofin can tax the liver - is it same that causes stomach irritation?

I actually wanted to ask this question before. I'm sure creatine started my bloody dumps and they pop up now and again (I got off creatine right away when I saw that in the toilet- pretty scary). I think it's one of those things that once you have it you'll always have it to one degree or another.

I was really thinking I was messed up bad inside. Good to know it's no biggie besides the nasty-ass skid marks. :chomp:

Without getting into too much detail, i had to deal with hroids a couple years ago. I hadn't done anything but protein up to that point in my life. But, I was taking in a ton of calories / protein in an effort to bulk up.

As a result, my dumps were huge. And I mean, passing something the diameter of an orange. It was painful, to put it mildly.

The point is, if your dumps are larger than usual, you're 1) ripping yourself up, which would explain the bleeding and 2) pushing hard, which strains the rectal veins and causes hroids. As pressure increases, blood pools in the veins and causes them to swell. Eventually, the swollen veins stretch the surrounding tissue and hemorrhoids develop.
