My family believes in God, but I do not.
Anyway, I know they mean well, but after reading some of this stuff, I have to say it sounds crazy. Last one started out something like; "God sits on his throne,..." ect... I kind of chuckled and make a joke to myself, sounded like a "Conan" movie, and they were talking about Krom. But,... I know they mean well, and I love them, but sometimes, when I am in a not so good mood, if I get this stuff from whomever, it gets on my nerves. Not completely because they are sending it to me,....I appreciate it, I know they mean well,...but when i read some of it out of curiousity/amusement, It reassures me why I do not believe, but scares me people actually believe this stuff is "real." I mean, I like to give credit to mysef for my own actions, and nobody else, but... in all seriousness, why I am concerned is if they take some of that scripture "seriously," I really hope it eventually won't effect any of their good judgement/decision making in the "real world." I hear whatever they say in the church, is like stone. People who really believe seem to follow, for the most part. I think there is a fine line sometimes. This type of thing Just scares me. Honestly, I am glad they do what makes them happy, but i would rather them not be religious, for this reason alone. They are not nuts (laughs) but I see sometimes the church could have control this way over a person. I don't like that. Typical business scheme. I know they would like for me to believe, as well,...but I don't believe. I do respect all views, and respect other's people choices to believe or not believe in whatever they want. But....isn't constantly trying to convert somebody who does not believe in "God" insulting to that person? Shouldn't you respect their decison, as they have respected yours to believe? What does this say (if anything) about some of these people who try to convert others, over and over?.... Just a few things I was thinking about.
I love them, and I will put up with this because I love them.
I do respect all peoples beliefs, and rights not to. It is your freedom, and choice. We ll should do what makes us happy.
