first off, you don't just pick up a guitar and get chicks, you gotta learn how to play some shit, and its easier said then done.

I picked it up so that I could jam with my friends... i have friends that have played in bands and we all listen to similar music so I learned a handfull of Tool and Metallica songs to play along with... I wouldn't say its ever gotten me any chicks.

ok yeah, I'm not saying that you use it to get chicks, I'm just saying that it can do that, if you are really good, heheh.

And of course yeah that would probably take a lot of practice and work and in the end not be worth it.

Eg: If they like shopping then shop with them, so that'll be your hobby too.
They may enjoy baking a cake, slice some fruit up or clean their place - you can join them too.

Not only will you have a hobby, you'll have THEIR hobby/interests too.
