Do I need some hobbies/passions in life?

One thing that people tell me a lot, is that I need to have hobbies/passions,

in particular for attracting the chicks. Because no chick is interested in a guy who is boring, and doesnt do anything special with his time.

Does this mean that its essential that I have some kinds of hobbies, in order to increase my attractiveness to chicks? Do I have to get involved in clubs, organizations, and crap like that?

What if I dont want hobbies/passions, etc?

If doing something did not entail the remote posibility of me getting laid, then I did'nt do it. For example, If someone to ask me to watch a sport game, or play cards, or drink w/the guys. I would ask is ther going to be any girls there? If no than its GEIGH forget about it.

But, getting chicks has a positive influence on your entire life. To get chicks I had to get into shape, find a way to goto college, work my ass of to get money, and learn how to relate to people in different situations. I did all these things to get laid. But, it definately improved my life.

But yea, I pretty much just have 2 priorities in life:

1. Getting a girl
2. Finding a cool group of friends at my college.

Learn to lie. If you can drop lies like a champ, you don't need to have hobbies, and you can pretend to have hobbies and passions. I don't think they make you a more attractive specimen for courtship , but define you as an individual. Asking about hobbies is just asking about who you are.

lol, I've thought about this too, but I have a thing against lying. Yea, I think they do help define who you are. Its just that if a woman knows that I have no hobbies, she probably wont want to be around me. (because she'll figure I'm a loser, boring, depressed, etc) and in truth I'm probably a little bit of all those things. Shit, I guess it will be awhile before I get a girl.

Usually when I try to stop thinking about girls, I begin thinking about them again in a day or so, its kinda hard wired into me. I'm willing to do what it takes to get a girl (I think) somehow I dont think that taking my mind off of them is really the answer.

Besides I like to think about girls. If it doesnt hurt me or anyone else, then whats the problem? (and I swear that it isnt hurting me or anyone else)

first off, you don't just pick up a guitar and get chicks, you gotta learn how to play some shit, and its easier said then done.

I picked it up so that I could jam with my friends... i have friends that have played in bands and we all listen to similar music so I learned a handfull of Tool and Metallica songs to play along with... I wouldn't say its ever gotten me any chicks.
