I think it might be just a little hypocritical to give girls a hard time for losing interest when you fall all over them like wet blankets, when there's NO way MOST MEN would stay very long with a girl who did the same thing to them. MOST worshipful girlfriends get cheated on, lied to and used.

Exceptions, of course: when neither partner is maliciously opportunistic or manipulative, when both partners adore each other equally. We all hope for this.

Imbalance in relationships keeps us bettering ourselves and seeking out more suitable partners. It should, anyway. If you keep making the same mistakes, and you keep getting your heart ripped open, I don't expect you to have learned anything from this
