Do Constant Needle Sticks Destroy Muscle?

Hear me out. I was thinking the other day when I was watching some heroin movie that their veins collapsed due to excessive sticks with a syringe. So I wonder if the same thing happens to the muscle tissue that is constantly stuck two or three times a week over time. I mean I know it causees scar tissue so I guess what I am asking is scar tissue dead or damaged muscle tissue?

Viens dont grow/repair themselves like muscle does.

It doesnt repair itself, but it does take up space. Intreveneous injections are only blocked by the skin and the skin heals/scars which essentially covers the vein, after many repeated injections the veins cannot support themselves and collapse under the weight of the skin.. so I believe.
