Women's periods are not bleeding like from an open vein or artery.....So it's not regular blood like from a wound...

The discharge is made up of different things that are necessary to support an embryo & is shed should said embryo not be fertilized & implanted.....

It's not bad for a woman to exercise during their period.... it can make a lot of women feel better...
 
They used to tell women they should stay home in bed or some shit like that. I usually have one annoying day/month w/ any bloat or cramps. The best way I've found to deal w/ that, regardless of what any study or doctor or whatever says, I go throw some weight around and I fell hella fuckin better.
 
I like lifting when have my time of the month unless of course my cramps are so bad - which just makes me wanna kick some ass

According to past G-friends, they all lifted, unless they just totally and completely felt like shit. They said it made them feel better. I couldn't imagine doing it, but then again, I am a male after all

The 'bleeding' is actually the shedding of useless tissue so no it doesn't hurt us to lift during it. In fact it helps to limit the cramping for me. I lift all month long. :)

anyway in terms of lost tissue, women dont lost that much blood during menstruation, and really, given that it takes several months to replace the blood lost, it doesnt really matter if women work out during the actual event or not - cardiovascularly, blood sitting on the walls of the uterus as endometrium is as useless to an organism (unless you actually get pregnant, of course) as blood spilt on the ground - its not doing anything in terms of carrying oxygen/killing bacteria etc etc anyway, so who cares.

women unfortunately have to try a little harder to eat a bit more iron on a daily basis (since iron is one of those bastard minerals taht you just cant get into the body in one go, unless you have a transfusion, you HAVE to have it regularly) and have more blood tied up in non cardiovascular roles. thats it.

besides, most women in they gym as much as theyd have to for their period to be a problem are likely to be eating a lot more iron along with their protein anyway

but dont they get lightheaded and tired from loss of blood?

Why would we get tired or lightheaded??? It's not "blood" like what is lost when a wound occurs, such as an opened vein....

:lmao: It's just funny. I have no idea if they do, but I'm sure it might help to exercise, maybe gets rid of cramps, bloating, etc.

speaking of bloating, i was listening to my music cause i like it, and on the last rep of legpress i farted really loud. sadly there wernt any girls around, otherwise i would have surely gotten laid
 
I work out when it is the time of the month weird thing is my strength is never consistant sometimes I can kill shit when I am on and sometimes I as weak as 90% of the guys posting on C&C. ;)
