Do believe in an afterlife?

It doesn't really matter if you believe in an after life or not.

Your belief will not change the fact of its existence or nonexistence...

I do not know the truth. :)

I don't believe in that karma crap where you are supposed to get what you give. I've seen too many good people die terribly without any just compensation for their good deeds in their lives. At the same time, total bags of scum ruin other people's lives only to die at a good old age without any of it ever coming back on them.

Karma=bullshit

maybe they were Nazi guards at Auschwitz in a previous life, takes a few lives to undo all of that bad karma

Its about having faith. Belief that there is a god, and that there is an afterlife. Nothing can be certain. Without faith, you will go to a worse off place when it comes to it, for sure.

Yes. It's all we have. We at least have to hope and have faith in something. Otherwise, what is the meaning of life afterall? What is our purpose etc...? I think all religions have a common denominator. Think of all the various religions and denominations within as being branches on a tree. They all come together as one. There is a higher more powerful force that us humans have yet to understand.
