I'm 48, 6' 210, 16% BF. Have done six cycles over the past ten years.
Until I hit my 30's, I was an extreme ecto who couldn't gain weight if my life depended on it. I could, and often did, eat an entire pie just before bed without putting on an ounce.
Middle age changed all that. (Getting old is hell lol.) Now I can get fat by merely looking at a pie.
Here'e my big problem. When I'm on cycle, if I don't eat massive quantities, I don't grow. But with those quantites comes massive fat gain, despite how clean my diet is and how much cardio I do. I used to be a runner, but tendon problems now limit me to doing stairs for cardio. I'm hoping to take care of some of these tendon problems with the var.
Been on this var cycle for three weeks, eating big and clean, getting stronger, but not putting any LBM and not losing any fat. If I eat bigger, I'll gain size, but much of it will be fat. If I continue to eat lean, I'll end up back at the place I started.
I'm thinking I should try eating like I'm on a bulking cycle, and count on the DNP to help me not turn into a walrus.
