I wanted to post this to see if anyone else might have had a similar experience as I had. This was my third time using DNP, the first no problems at all and very good results, I did 200mg ed
for 2 weeks, the second the same 200mg ed for 2 weeks with good results also, but after finishing that cycle I noticed that I would itch all over and if I scratched it would swell up very bad, and even if I brushed up against anything my skin would swell up where it was touched, this lasted for about three weeks, I treated it with anti-itch cream and benadryl and tried not to scratch. At the time I did not contribute the allergic reaction to the DNP because I did not have these sides on my first experience. My third time I did a mild dose of 200mg eod because of the warmer weather, the day after the second cap. I noticed at around 3pm yesterday I was starting to itch with little bumps popping up on my skin, I went to work and all night I was itching more and more, by the time I got off at 11pm I had swollen places all over my body and my lips where about three times bigger. I drove straight to the hospital, they put me on an IV of antihistamine and gave me cortisone shots, they released me about 4am this morning after the swelling was almost gone, the doc told me to take 4 benadryl a day and gave me a script for a prednisone pack to last for six days. I did not tell the doc what I had taken, but he asked a hell of allot of questions, I guess this is standard procedure. I have read of people having allergic reactions to DNP at first and getting better as the more they take it, but for me my sides get worse the more I take it, having this type of experience you can guess, no more DNP for me.
