DNP Problem...

My DNP results can be found here

Today is day 3 off my cycle and I feel WAY WAY worse than the 8 days I was on dnp. I find it kind of wierd because my cycle went really well, I had no signs of allergic reaction and my side affects were a joke compared to what other people described.

My problems are now that I'm on day three....

- Small 10 second headaches everytime I stand up aftering sitting down for awhile. I'm guessing this has something to do with dehydration. I drank plenty of water while on my cycle but obviously not enough if this is whats causing my problem.

- If I sit in one position for a long time I will start to heat up, soon as I move I will start getting cold flashes.

- Can't sleep without waking up every 1-2 hours with cold sweats.

- My energy levels are way way down. Seems like my system starts to shut down when I'm laying down causing me to become very fatigued

Any help or information you can throw my way will be much appreciated, thanks.

all of these are typical, although some dont experience these, give it a few more days till water retension falls off, you should be fine after that

it might be an alergic reaction although i highly doubt it,

"He'll probably shoot you up with cortisone to fight the allergy."

cortisone is a cortical steroid and has nothing to do with allergic reactions,

It has been 5-6 weeks since my DNP cycle ended and on the days that I take ALA, my piss still smells like DNP, just like when I was on DNP. I'm thinking perhaps the liver holds onto some of it like it does other toxins, and if you don't take something like ALA to give your liver the nutrients it needs to detoxify, it will just hold onto them until enough nutrients become available. If this is the case it would be advisable to use ALA during and after a DNP cycle.

Update...

I ended up falling asleep right when I got back from picking up some Benadryl. When I woke up I felt a lot better. My little 10 second headaches when I stand up are gone, I have a lot more energy (probably because im doing a carbup today) and I no longer have big rashes anymore. Just small red dots all over my body which used to be really itchy but seem to have cleared up somewhat.
I'm about to go take my first dose of Benadryl right now so hopefully that will clear up the rest.

Only thing bothering me right now are my palms. They used to be itchy but now its like a constant burning. It hurts more if I make a fist or touch it.

Damn what wierd side affects.. I'm just thankful I did a lot of research on dnp dosing before I started. While I was at 400mg a day and not seeing results and my side affects were low, I was thinking of bumping my dose up to 600mg a day. I'm really glad I kept the "low and slow" moto going otherwise I would probably be in the hospital right now.
While I was researching dnp awhile back I don't think I ever came across a post or website that explained side affects after a cycle. For you first time users, keep the dosing low!!! When you move on the your 2nd cycle and you know you won't get allergic reactions then go ahead and bump up the dose.

Serge,

You really don't need to be so high and mighty. I read a lot of your posts, and I appreciate them. You really don't think a rash is an allergic reaction? My doctor an I are going to have to disagree with you.

This guy is experiencing many symptoms that could be avoided by some benadryl or some quercetin.

As for the cortisone...No shit. Yes, cortisone is a cortical steroid. Very good for knowing. I think most of us do. Doctors frequently use shots of this to help our bodies fight off attacks of viruses, bacteria, arthritis, pain, acne AND ALLERGIC REACTIONS.

Your expertise is noted here quite often, but don't abuse your power. A shot or two of cortisone could provide this guy with some major relief. That is worth way more to me than putting someone down for trying to help.

Good Luck, Thinker

im sorry bro i did not mean to try to rag on you, but i have experienced the symptoms of post dnp low, and i did try benadryl and it did absolutely nothing, a week after my last dose everything went away, i think its just the stress of supper high oxidation and formation of free radicals (induced by accelerated beta-oxydation of tryglycerides). i also found that taking more anti-oxidants during the dnp bursts will take care of the post dnp lows

as for cortisone replie, it did come out a bit harsh and once again i appologize (some say that im by-polar sometimes)

Thinker82, too bad that shit had to happen to you, but thank goodness you did plenty of research on this stuff. Otherwise, as you have stated, you would have ended up in the hospital. Anyone who wants to experience with DNP for the first time MUST do it low and slow to what kind of reaction they will get.

Anyone know how long it takes for benadryl to go into affect?
My first dose was 2 tabs about 6 hours ago, I just took my second dose of 2 tabs 10 mins ago.
I still have red dots all over my body so I'm a bit concered. Would be nice to know if there is still a chance benadryl will help.

On the box it says "Fast Releif" so I'm starting to wonder if the benadryl is strong enough to take care of my situation.

Thanks

As long as you don't get worse, I would give the Benadryl some time. Like Serge said, sometimes you need a week to get rid of this. Continue dosing the Benadryl throughout the week. DNP is serious, and your body may need some time to recover.

Also, Serge mentioned that you need to up your antioxidants.

I remember seeing a post with someone's pic on here. They took DNP and got a rash like you were speaking of. Do a search for DNP sides and such. If you find it, pm the guy for info.

Edited....Here is the thread to Cornellius' post. He has a pic of his rash. Is this like yours?

I know my cortisone shot remedy wasn't popular, but it works. You can go to a doctor and explain to him that you are having an allergic reaction to something. Ask him for a shot. The cortisone will boost your body's response time to the reaction. He can also give you a more potent shot of Benadryl too.
