DNP - Muscle SPARING or Muscle WASTING ?

Mods? Vets? Experienced users.. tell us...
Would love to hear Fonz, Macro, Huck and all the ones knowledgable bout it

I respectfully disagree. I just ran a 600mg/day for 6 day cycle and lost 1 lb LBM and 9 lbs of fat(4% of my original bodyweight).
I could never do that doing cardio and eating the absolute cleanest.
 
Muscle sparing. I have used it twice in a 10 day and a 7 day cycle. I did not see in difference in appearance muscle wise or have in loss in strength after the cycles were over. You do have a loss in strength for at least a week after but by two weeks everything is back to normal.

DNP increase your metabolic rate. Its like doing low level activity 24 hours a day. I don't think anyone would find walking on a treadmill catabolic. Being on DNP is like light walking on a treadmill all day and night.
 
i would say sparing as well..

there is lots of research papers saying that dnp will use fat for the "extra" energy it needs and many users will report the same as well..

I believe andy13 knows the answer to this... and I think its muscle sparing. Can't remember why, but there is some serious science behind it.

I will try to look up why, but i think that when uncoupled there is some chem/enzyme released that protects agains muscle breakdown.

I used it for many cycles...I think muscle "Wasting" is to strong of a word. DNP primarily goes after fat but you can not expect it not to break down any muscle at all. You lose muscle doing to much cardio so technically i think Satch is right. However the amount of muscle to fat loss as to be like 10-1 so I think it is worth it. Also I saw another thread about using or not using when on DNP...using on DNP is much better IMO. The gear picks you up where the DNP wants you to lie on the couch and do nothing.
 
it is muscle sparing. Though if you have high levels of IM FAT it can certainly make it seem like you have lost a lot of size.

though as noted above you will still lose muscle, though not as much as is "traditional".

sparing, relative to what it does

basically youre talking about a drug which increases your caloric consumption HUGELY while burning fat to a far greater degree than any of the other macronutrients- and your body is geared to do the exact opposite in times of caloric deficit

sparing is an understatement really, when you want to get pharmacological about it
