DNP Legal Status??

I just got through reading a Thread a few bars down, saying about so & so source was raided for carrying DNP. I always assumed that DNP wasn't a controlled substance, nor a watched chemical, and was 100% legal to posess. I also was under the assumption that since it doesn't fall into a "controlled" category, that it wasn't DEA territory. Have they changed the status of DNP as far as posession recently, or am I just behind the times and it has always been "watched"? Thanks for any responses in advance.

selling DNP for fat loss is a federal crime- FDA

mailing DNP across state lines for other than legitimate purposes is a federal crime- not sure under which regulatory body this falls

DNP is "news" which means that right now it is not a good thing to be involved with.

obviously possession of personal use materials is not an issue of worry... but the "pretend" research sites are going to go down..

Are you saying that all Ancillaries are being cracked down upon, or simply DNP on account of a few unfortunate deaths?
