I wonder if the type of counter ion causes measurable pharmacological differences...
Little differences such type of salt apparently cause different affects.. Look at adderal.. It's the same molecule (d-amp) but as four different salts.. It's apparently better (or at least different) than (just) d-amphetamine hcl... ANy ideas?

likely due to effects on dopamine and perhaps prolactin.. though the sodium issue is an important one.. likely because it is sodium without any glucose present.. salts in the absence of calories seem to a very negative effect..
