DNP and Receptors

I have read in a number of places that a DNP run will clear out your androgen receptors and make them more sensitive to aas useage again. Does anyone have any studies or anything at all to back this up? A less than knowedgeable buddy of mine claimed HCG does the same thing! are people just creating new attributes for drugs? :mix:

Only light I can shed is that it was rumored that you get a muscle rebound when you stop DNP.... DNP is so strong, it burns muscle and fat.... When you stop using it, youre supposed to get some of that muscle back.... Not sure if this is even true, never happened to me, but many guys claim it's true.... I've never heard of it clearing out androgen receptors, but who knows?

Actually, DNP seems to have a muscle sparing effect. While you are on, it looks like you got smaller but that is because the muscle is flat. This also can cause you to get weaker. But when you, stop and the muscle glycogen and water increases, then it looks like you rebounded and you feel strong again.

I strongly disagree that you actually get stronger or increase muscle from DNP.

It was suggested in Building The Perfect Beast by DR. L Rea that a dnp and insulin combo be used between cycles to clear receptors. buckwheat1 is right when he says dnp has a muscle sparing effect and that the look of muscle loss is caused by the lack of glycogen and water in the muscle. You run almost a zero carb diet while on dnp usally which puts you in a state of ketosis to maximize fat -burning. This is all discussed in depth in Dan Duchaines book Dirty Dieting.

how does that dirty dieting look at things like the recomendation of eating fruit and other simple carbs to raise the temp and burn more fat... also how does one do dnp and slin with low carbs?.... seems like a RIP to me

my limitted understanding is that DNP and no carbs AND insulin will in short order toss you into a coma or death.

I have no personal experience with the stuff, and am the first to hold up a flag that says "HEARSAY!" on this comment, but would like to learn more, so bump for those who have some back up on this topic..

I would say that using insulin anytime without carbs is probably an issue. It is not necessary to do a "no carb" diet when running dnp. But food and carbs in general will cause you to "heat up" while on dnp.

Fruitose is recommended while on dnp because it specifically replenishes liver glycogen levels which I believe helps keep T3 levels or T4->t3 conversion going.
