DNP and high-dose ALA

I may do a DNP run soon. I am familar with using ALA at relatively lower levels (lower than discussed in this thread) for ALA's anti-oxidant benefits.

I am also now running a higher-dose (2-3G/day) of ALA for increased insulin sensitivity.

SOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo........

If I do a DNP cycle, of a moderate dose (400 mg/day - not a burst cycle) I wonder ..... how much DNP should I do? The higher amount? Should I drop it back down while on DNP?

Any advice?

Bump for this...some of the lab rats need to see this.

Keep it high helps with glucose transport since insulin production is shut down by DNP, Also strong anti- oxident.

Jeezus, where is Fonz and the true expsrts out there when you need 'em...........

Come on guys, I am starting a DNP run today.

Add some radox and oregano oil, too.

If you REALLY wanna be safe, here's my list:

ALA, 1-2 grams a day
Radox
Tyler's liver detox
NAC (in addition to Tyler's)
Green tea extract
Oregano oil
Vitamins E and C
Glutamine

Be sure and read ANDY13's excellent post on maximising fat loss on DNP http://boards.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=77319&highlight=DNP+and+AAS

Sorry, but I do not take any of Andy's recommendations about DNP any more.

Andy yelled high and low for a while about how guys should eat a LOT of carbs while on DNP. People challenged him, questioned him, pointed out examples of REAL WORLD experiences that many guys had which challenged his assertions, but yet Andy would shoot them down, bitch, make it personal, and still LOUDLY explian why his theory (based on chemistry and biology, which is great, but all the while IGNORING what people had as real-world experinces) was True.

Then, quietly, Andy reversed his "recommendation" and then said that maybe guys should eat less carbs.

I wonder how many guys went through absolute HELL, how many guys lives were in DANGER, because he quoted "theories" and passionately made recommendations which SOUNDED great, but yet almost ignored the real world evidence and experiences that actual people were having.

Anyway, I have nothing against the guy personally, I wish everybody well. This is NOT a slam at Andy. Maybe he has changed, I hope so. He has not been around much, I hope all is well with him.

But watch out when people quote opinions as fact, when theories are presented as if they have been verified scientifically, and when someone takes it personally when their scientific assertions are questioned.

I for one prefer people who WELCOME to have their knowledge questioned and challenged. Not them PERSONALLY, not to be questioned as a person, but to have the information questioned, discussed, challenged and explained. This allows everyone to learn.

I just wonder, again, how many guys went through HELL because they "believed" a bunch of theory.

If you want to read a guys who knows his shit, and who is cool (and secure) enough to Welcome having his info challenged, read some of Fonz'z stuff.

Or Macro, or YMK's, or Mustangs.
