Good idea or bad idea to do Hvy squats and Deads on the same day? Both workout the legs why not do em on the same day? Or switch the deads to back day. what do you guys think?

In my opinion it's a bad idea to do both heavy on the same day, one light and one heavy on the same day isn't such a terrible idea though.

The reason I wouldn't is because of how much either exercise takes out of you, try setting a PR in both on the same day, and you're going to have a hell of a time....but try setting a PR on monday in squats, and thurs or friday in deads and you may be more successful. Just my thoughts...
 
Just MHO, but I use front squats as a warmup for heavy deads. I can't FS nearly as much as my back squat, but the motion seems to get me ready for deads.
