I have been chewing for 8 years and currently chew a can of Rooster a day. As the other Cali brothers know the prices have skyrocketed here. I saw it for 9.29 a can in the store the other day. I have no choice but to quit now. Just think about all the "other" things I can buy now that I am not spending over 100 a month on dip. I have never noticed any effects on training from it but I read once that in a test group of dippers and non dippers there was a 19% strength deficit of the dippers from the non-dippers. Whether there was any validity to the test is unknown.

i have to have it when i do anything.. watch TV. work on my car. even wghen i take a shower i have a dip.
only time i take it out is when i sleep(SOMETIMES) or when i workout

I can't believe how many nasty ass dippers are on this board (myself included). I am going to get the f'ing gum and try that-it's just so expensive (the gum).

I can't believe how expensive things are in California!!! In Georgia, dip is 2.75/can, gas is $1.15/gallon, and you can buy a 3,000 sq.ft. brand new house for around $215,000. I've been to CA before - granted it's very fucking cool and beautiful (landscape and women), but I don' t know how anybody makes it financially there.

Readin this post really brings back some memories I have dippin Cope. I used to be in the Navy and dipped on the Flight Deck and everywhere for that matter. When I moved to Tokyo you can't buy it here so i had to quit, but everytime I get off the plane in LA or NY, I take a cab to get a can. I have quit now for several years, but still like a dip once I hit US Soil.

Brings back memories for me too. I chewed about a tin every 2 days and quit a few months ago. Sometimes I miss it. I don't really miss my teeth being stained yellowish brown though.
